Did you call CIC? Have they started working on the case in Mississauga office or it's still in transit?

so what i read on this forum most of the people in mississauga have around 7 to 10 months of processing. am i right?

I've tried to call... the wait time is insane.. I can't do that, 40 minutes ??? How do you guys reach them...

I had to wait approximately the same amount of time - I just put my headphones on and was listening to their music for 40 minutes. While I was waiting I was getting voice notifications about remaining wait time(and that estimate was pretty accurate).

do they tell you that your file is transferred to mississauga office? i heard few files even go to scarbrough.

I live in Mississauga, so I was expecting it to be processed at the local office. When I called they confirmed my test center location in Mississauga.

Call CIC in Morning just after 8, i called twice and got hold of an agent within 10 minutes.

Congrats! Though this shows movement, doesn't explain why newer applications are processed before old. There are many applications from mid Oct still waiting for test.

That depends on several factors, first is the official in charge of your application, In my specific case I only have two short trips out the country since I became a permanent resident, the same employer for the last 10 years, no criminal record or traffic infractions, I think all this definitely facilitates the process. I also agree with you for the slowness in many applications.
