Mississauga Citizenship Applicants

Our application is in IP since Feb 6th...Mississauga office.application sent in December 2017. Do I need to call CIC?

You can call and you will get the same answer everybody else here already got many times : it’s still within the normal 12 month time frame

What did CIC say on the delay ?

I never got them ..always due to high volume call they cannot connect me . I’m waiting for July . After that will go to my MP . Let’s see what happens .

My application is in process since November 3rd 2017. From Missisauaga.

I called the CIC and they told me that my application is still under background check.

When you done with your TAX assessment?

1. We sent you correspondence on June 6, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Yesterday I became a proud Canadian Citizen. Ceremony was well organized with 105 applicants becoming Canadian Citizens. I have waited 13 years for this big day. Next step is to apply for my Canadian passport on Friday

Most probably it is fingerprint request letter as had already been communicated to me to expect it soon.
