I applied for an inland TRV after extending my study permit on June 28 because my old TRV will expire on July 31 and I need to urgently travel outside of Canada. On July 4 the application was updated showing “final decision: your application is in progress” with BVL but no PPR. I went on my tracker I can already find my visa document number and expiration date. But it’s been more than two weeks since then and I still don’t have any update. I’ve sent like 5 webforms and called several times and nothing has happened.
Is this normal? The application has exceeded the normal processing time (19 days).
I’m furious rn because I can’t leave Canada without a new TRV or at least PPR because I still need to return to Canada in September. I had no choice but to resubmit my application with a letter explaining why I’m doing it.
