Missing Medicals

I called CIC today after receiving first Stage Approval under in-Canada class with a request for medical. I have been told by agent that there is no record of my previous medical on my file i.e. they haven't received it. (May be it is just sitting in their mail room and no one bother to attach it to my application).

The agent advised me to call doctor's office and asked them when did they send it. And write a letter to Vegreville Office, with all the details and attach the old receipts of previous medical as a proof ( which i already did). She said medical are valid for one year, but they don't have information on your file about your first medical to begin with and this is why they requested a medical. She said, even if they do require a new medical there should at least be some information about your previous result.

Now i am not sure what should i do? Should i send the old receipts with details got from doctors office. Or should i just go through with medical again? What do you guys say? If i will send the old receipts that may delay further more to my case, and they may end up asking me for re-medical again. My previous will expire in 2 and half months.

Sorry for you bad news what a bizarre situation it is although I expect it happens

Maybe seniors will give you the advise you need as I wouldnt know how to handle this either , I will watch your thread with intrest !

Ok so good news is that they have my medicals on file now. There is no e-cas update, but i confirmed with call center. I sent couple of faxes to ottawa regional health center, and called ottawa as well to confirm that they have my results. Call center agent told me that they only entered my results in computer today after 9 months of receiving it. We cant even complaint anyone.
