Hello. Me (with Canadian Passport) and my mother (Asian Passport with visitor visa) came through Vancouver. While we went through the immigration here, the immigration officer gave back the passport and kiosk slip to us which we've handed over to the customs officer. My mother was on wheel chair and we were almost missing the connecting flight, so couldn't check the passport that time. But later realized that there is no entry stamp in our passport. I later asked the security officer at the transfer desk about it and he said that, they don't put entry stamp any more.

1. Is it true? If not, what to do now?

2. As there is no entry stamp in my mother's passport, how long can she stay under the Visitor's visa this time? Her visa is valid for two years.

Thanks

CBSA don't stamp all passports at airports (like Vancouver) with inspection kiosks anymore.
Like BS65 said, visitors can stay up to 6 months when they don't have a departure date stamp in their passport.

You can read it in the next link from CBSA
