Missing document after AOR?

Hi all,

This may be a dumb question but is it possible to have your whole application returned to you for a missing document AFTER getting an AOR? Or would they just send you an online request for that specific document through the CIC portal?

after AOR its unlikely IRCC will return the entire application......they may request you send additional documents/
