Missed PPR email

Hi guys, wish anybody could help me. I was waiting for my Passport request email for more than a month now since my online status changed as Decision Made on 05-Dec-2013. Everytime I contact CIC thro' email the response I got was "you will receive a letter in your mail regarding the decision we have taken" so I was under the assumption they are yet to send me the email but today I got a call from local MP office, they say my application is approved and CIC sent me the email requesting for my passport on 04-Dec-2013. I did not get the email or may be I missed the email so I am wondering what is the possible way to request CIC resend it. I tried contacting the call center, but they said they cannot do anything about this. Even mailing is not working for me so I dont know what to do.

Since my MP office confirmed the application is approved, can I just send my passport to CIC? Do they send any forms along with PPR? Please suggest.

It had happened with someone else in the forum I dont remember what he did exactly I would suggest sending an email again to CPP stating whatever your MP has told you and tell them to resend you the ppr, wait till Feb, if not received any reply then just mail your passport to them with that email and two pics.

Thanks, I have already sent them an email and also have request my MP office to try to request CIC to resend the email. If I don't hear anything positive I am planning to send my passport with an explanation letter. Let's see how it goes, the 60 days time period worries me, I should have contacted my local MP office long back.

Let's see how it goes, the 60 days time period worries me, I should have contacted my local MP office long back.

Your still well within 60 days from 04-Dec-2013 which is the date you said CIC sent you the request. So you should be fine as long as you act right away.

I also submitted my passport almost 45 days after the request date, and got CoPR no issues.

Currently 30 days. If you need more time, just send/reply asking for an extension.
