Pre-Assessed..
Hi

I had a trip to Hong Kong during my 4-year period and since you no longer get stamped at immigration there I decided to order a HK Statement of Travel (entry/exit records). That came through and the dates of exit and entry back into Canada match up, however I know realize that I forgot to mention that I took a day trip to Macau during the absence.

I am not too worried about this as it doesn't affect my physical presence, as I was already out of Canada, and Macau immigration doesn't issue passport stamps either.

I could either leave this explanation until interview, after all I have the official Statement of Travel for proof, or I could send this supplementary information to CIC now to accompany my application. I can call CIC for advice on this, but does anyone know what the process would be for getting the information attached to my application? Does this get sent to Sydney or the local office processing the application (I don't even know how I'd get the address for the local office).

Thanks

Ah, so just found this. Posting for anyone else who may find it useful:

If you still have thoughts on whether this is something to worry about, please let me know!

For anyone that is interested, I phoned CIC and they said it is not something to worry about and you don't need to inform them of the change. The justification for this was that in this case the change does not affect the physical presence calculation and that is all they are really interested in.
