Hello

Yesterday i found that i missed to mention an address in my address history but the address history that i sent cec along with my application does not have any gap.

1. I know the CIC has that missing address in my record because thats the address i used on my application file when i came to canada. Is this a big issue or can it be fixed?? Should i send a new address history by adding that missing entry?

2. What if I lived somewhere else on that period of time and just used that address as mailing address. Do i still need to add it to the address history?

3. Does anyone has this kind a issue before, that CIC has your that address and you forget to mention in the address history sheet?

Please Help..Thanks. :)

Yes I had the same issue. There was no gap in address time in the address form though. But the address I missed was of a different country and that time period was mentioned in the "your Travels" form. So for me there was a mismatch -- address form had address of one country but travel form had mention of different country for the same period.

When it got my notice, I resent the Corrected Address form to Ottawa. hard Copy.

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate. I will resend the updated address history sheet. Did you get any confirmation email from CIC as well ???

I too forgot to mention couple of addresses in my PR application.

When I realized it, I sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with Background FORM IMM5669E (Page 3 only), with email subject mentioning UCI, Application no. (Example "UCI: XXXXXXXX Application # XXXXXXXX Additional documents for Permanent Residence in Canada (CEC)"), and in the email body I included notes of what and why I am sending this form. Dont forget to include your name, birth date, UCI, Application no. in your email write up. You will get an automated reply and I think it's done - they should consider and add it to file. :)
