Minor with TRV + Parent with SP

Hiya,

I am taking my son with me while I will be studying at UoW from Fall 2024 to Spring 2026.
3 yrs old sonny has approved TRV till Jun 2026 and I have approved SP till Oct 2026.
Since TRV holder can stay up to 6 months, what do I do to his visa after 6 months of stay? Should I extend it every time until he is 4 yrs old and then apply for SP for him?
Please help out!

With a TRV, child needs to maintain status so need to apply for a visitor record every 6 months.

1) even tho sonny is tied to my student visa, his TRV still needs to be extended?
2) for how many more months the extention is given?
3) what docs I need to submit for visitor record?

1. He needs to maintain his own status at all times. Your being on study permit has nothing to do with it.
2. 6 months
3. Funds, your study permit, proof of studying etc.
