Minor Application Processing Time

Hello Everyone,

Can you please share processing time for minors under 14 (no police & background check and test is required) ?

I know what CIC website shows is good for everyone, but would like to know if anyone has applied for their minors and got citizenship bit faster

Do the kids who have valid PR and under 14 must be residing in Canada during the citizenship application process ?

There is no requirement for a child to be present inside Canada during the processing. Even lot many people are moving out after applying. And especially for a child since there is no physical requirement, it certainly not required for a child to be inside the country even while applying.

No, they just should have valid PR status till citizenship is granted.
