Visa is not dependent on your university GPA. It's more like, which university you want to apply to, as all universities have different GPA requirement. You need to get accepted by a university first, then apply for a student visa.

If you are talking about PR Visa, then GPA has nothing to do with it, just get your education assessed.

@TLOU Like i was refused study permit recently, i applied with conditional offer letter ..undergrad course completed more than one and half yrs @University..i was wondering if my GPA was a problem..they said um will not return post studies..is it because am already at my university....is it that my lower gpa meant i won't be able to manage studies in canada...do u know any getting visa with gpa lower than 3.o..?my overall gpa was 3.01 in last 57 credits

Getting a visa is not dependent on your GPA. You need to find a university and a course that will accept you. Once you are accepted, you then apply for a student visa. But then again, I think it's too late for the September intake. You might want to try other intakes.

Look for a course that will accept you based on your GPA.

yes even i knew that...but sometimes they say in the caips file that lower grades/gpa means that the applicant won't be able to manage studies in Canada...what about that?
