Minimum ielts score for college?

Hi everyone,

A friend who wants to study in Canada has 5.5 ielts, but one band is just 4.5.

Is there any college that accepts one band at 4.5 ielts?

Friend is in the middle east, if that helps.

Friend would be happy studying almost anything, from computer science to HR.

I think my friend has to raise the ielts score from 4.5 to at least 5.5, based on what I have found so far, but just wondering if anyone knows.

IRCC will refused the study permit with a score of 4.5 even if the college accepts you.

No individual scores below 5.5.

4.5 is kinda low, normally Colleges in Canada would request students to have a academic IELTS band of 6.5 (Some 6.0) and IRCC would only consider if the applicant has a minimum of band 5.5

Tip : Read english books out loud so that you wont stutter.
i started reading almost 12 months before my IELTS and i managed to get a 7
