I know that the program says that you need 3900 hours or 24 months of full time employment to apply for the PR. Is 30 hours a week for 2 years considered full time? I want to hire someone for 30 hours a week, but they are worried it's not enough to fufill the 24 months full time. I think that 30 hours a week is the minimum hours allowed for the program?

Check the labour standards for full time hours in your province. I don't think it is 30 hours per week though.

. I am from alberta..my employer applied lmo 30 hour base but there was no way service canada would approve such since its a live in caregiver program..My first employer thou who was from missisauga ontario got a positive LMO base on 30 hours but that was way back 2007..Cindy2010 said:

Well no worries then, your caregiver will be able to apply for PR after the required 24 months of work is finished.
