Migrant worker wants to stay in Canada longer then contract

Can someone steer me in the right direction?

Looking for information on how to sponsor my boyfriend who works in Ontario Canada for 8 months of the year and then goes home. He is here on a migrant worker visa.

I assume you are either a Canadian citizen or PR. If so, then you can sponsor your boyfriend if you are either married or common law (have lived together for a minimum of one full year). A good description of the process is available here:
