Hi guys,
Just want to update you: I called CIV today to inquire about my application. They are now mailing out AEOs (assessment letters) to apps received up to July 28th. so your news are coming soon! :)

Hi KiSunja,

AEO means AOR?

my application reached NS on 31st july?

any idea ?

Thanks,

btw.. when I entered my file number on CIC website (case status online).. it simply says "Application received".. Does that mean they still need to check for Elgibility review compleness ?
From the AOR, ECAS took about a week to be updated from "application received" to "CIO elegibility review complete" ;) .

Thanks Paco..

As per your comment, I think I should wait for another week or so to update my status.. bcoz I came to know from my consultant that they have received CHC requirement (for submitting proof of funds, original IELTS etc..) alongwith file number.

kris32, i think you would be getting your AOR in another week or 10 days..

I called the CIC call centre today and the agent said that my application was opened on 14 September and I can expect the AOR in November since there was a backlog of applications and it usually takes up to 10 weeks for the CIO from the time of opening the application to completion/decision on eligibility. I applied in FSW category-2. Members (applied to CIO in July), please share your application proceeds at CIO, NS. I have one question. Should the police certificate be valid three months of application to CIO or three months before applying to the Canadian High Commission? It was not clear to me from the instruction guide.

Cheers
