Proof of funds – Skilled workers and professionals

The Government of Canada does not provide financial support to new skilled worker immigrants.

You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependents after you arrive in Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to support the costs of living for your family.

Waiting for magic maple leaf.. Bit tensed now...

As per requirement you need to show : $17000 +. One of my friend he carried around 10000 only. And also carried the other POF in his personal account.

You can carry some cash, Some Travellers Cheque and Forex Card.

CHC reviewed my application and sent me a Letter on October 5,2010.

and I send complete document package on January 24, 2011.

My application was reviewed and CHC started processing on May 18,2012.
