it took me around 45 days...even after a week of medical i got medical recieved line and than only i send my all docs including rprf, pcc, passport etc

Hello Sunny Paaji,

Have you got the same file no. written on your medical request letter as provided to you originally. B,coz on mine it was different file number and I noticed it after sending the medicals, PP and drafts etc. Although I have written a separate letter to NDVO regarding the change in file number on medical request letter but didn't get any reply even after 30 days that's why I am worried. Although my DD was en cashed on 18 july but don't know whether they have associated my DD with my original file number or with the file number which they had written on medical letter.

mine was also different actually in 2nd AOR Visa office provides different file no. in initial app it was different , dont worry ab that if u can check ur ecas status with ur different file no.

Took the PCC and the DD and also sent it to the Canadian High Commission, New Delhi on 7th august along with the passport. It was intimated that the mentioned documents should reach on or before 09-09-2012. Does that mean that they will check the file only on 09-09 or...will they be checking it earlier..to the date mentioned. Just curious that..all

VO gives 45 days to complete the medical and submit PP. So you might have received medical on JUNE 26th. It should be fine, if your documents reach NDVO on 9th. Most of the DMPs forward the reports in 5-7 days.

They are encashing the DD's immediately upon receipt of documents. But looks like processing starts later.

Medical done on 6th July, NOC code 4131 same as yours. I also applied in Feb 2010. No ecas update for me as well.

No I can't check ecas status with new file no. Actually I have now 3 file no.s First one I got when send application to sydney nova scotia. Then second no. from delhi. Now 3rd no. on medical document.

I got incorrect file no. on my medical request letter that can be a reason of delay for me. But there are others also who are waiting for "medical received" line. Please update the post once your ecas will updated with "medical received" line.
