Dear kbhise,
I can share related information but I am not sure whether it's suitable for your case.
In some country, High Commission of CANADA provides an Attested Form for Police clearance. Someone need to collect it from the High commission and submit the filed up one to the Respective authority/Police department for PCC.

If you are in Bangladesh, that's not suitable here since High commission of Ca in Bangladesh provides nothing like that. In that case, write an email to SVO for sending a request in favor of you.

Sorry Brother was a bit busy with work lately was not able to check the forums or CIC. Thanks to you, after i checked your message i went on to check the CIC and realized i had received MR on 3/10/14!!! now Processing the police clearance requests. I recieved a letter for CIC asking for police clearance from Singapore. I did not receive similar letter addressed to indian embassy. they will not issue a Police cert without a letter from CIC, any idea how to proceed?

I need some advice/suggestion on undermentioned facts:

I applied as my name MD XXXXXX YYYYYYY

But my passport name was Mohammed XXXXXX YYYYYYY that time. [It was official passport & I was in the govt service].

Later on, when I got retired, I converted my official Passport to private one and changed to my original name as MD XXXXXXX YYYYYYY, because my all academic certificates are in my name of MD XXXXXX YYYYYYY along with my birth certificates. But I appeared IELTS (that time I was in service) with the passport named as MOHAMMED XXXXXX YYYYYYY. So the result appeared as MOHAMMED XXXXXX YYYYYYY

Now after converting my passport to MRP, my name in my passport is MD XXXXXX YYYYYYY. After change of passport, I intimated CIC with my both Old & New passport and requested to use my name as MD XXXXXX YYYYYYY.

But till now CIC is using my name as MOHAMMED XXXXXX YYYYYYY.

What to do?

Will it create any problem in future?

Should I communicate with CIC again?

First time I informed with my old passport & new passport using the following link address : [Case Specific Inquiry]
