our passports get stamped from islamabad coz u already know the fact that these cannt be sent out of pakistan via courier by law....so the LVO asks us for PPR1,the copies.they stamp the copies and send them to CHC Islamabad.original passports get stamped at islamabd office for london.its just the chc islamabad fascilitates chc london.otherwise they dont maintain the records or the updates on our files which r in london.

so there is no logical point to consider ourselves connected anymore with chc islamabad.

I agree that we belong to London visa office....

If we are from Islamabad Visa office....Will they issue three times medicals to all MI-1 applicants from pakistan? to reach the bench mark of 44 months?

lol@ three times medicals! I guess the cases from Pakistan can take upto 44 months maximum.

Bro, i hope you guys are right about london. However, my case took alsmost 3.5 years.. some MI2 applicants got their cases completed in 14 months too.

44 months for Pakistani applicants are for strong security/background checks. Just discussed this with an immigration lawyer n he told me so. As, end of the day you are a Pakistani resident so you will belong to this (44 months) block. LVO is working on our files with regards of CHC ISB.

Although, i strongly hope he is not right.. 44 months are CRAZY!!

Not get confused..........Thats the law of Pakistan by which we cannot send out passports out of pakistan by post. It is the only reason. If the law was not applicable, LVO asked us to send our passports to London for VISA stamping. Visa information is suppose to be passed to Islamabad Visa Office and then PPR-2 comes.

Its a 2 step process for Pakistan applicants. If i am wrong, please correct....:):)

May be the layer is correct. But background checks is a 2 step process as per my experience. Before medical (Routine Background checks) and after medical (Security and Criminality checks). It took minimum of a MONTH to get a person have an international security clearance (process adopted by US Citizenship and Immigration Department). If they are following the 30 days security clearance process then for the rest of the time (NOC, Inprocess Date, Medical etc) will be considered (My Perspective).

I hope i am correct. If wrong please correct me...:))

Don't worry. I am pretty sure you are all London applicants. I am a Pakistani but I applied from London because I had a resident visa there. But we are all moving together at the same pace. Our VO initials match. How come without any reason the process will be longer for you than me?? It's ridiculous.
The processing time is not for nationalities, like Pakistanis. Otherwise I should have fallen in thd 44 month category, but I AM an original LVO applicant. At no stage gave I been connected with ISL VO.
Cheer up.

What I am feeling is that if they delay our PPRs, most probably we will be having them close or may be very close to our medical deadlines. What i am praying is that we should get our PPRs in appropriate times before our medical expiry. InshaAllah.

But why should they delay our PPRs? They want to clear the backlog. No new applications are coming in at the moment. What could be stopping them from issuing our PPRs now rather than later when they will have new application loads to look at??

Dear beckett,

I am praying that they donot delay our PPRs for what ever reason it may be. After issuance of proposed changes in FSW program, they might start working fast. InshaAllah.
