adto cno.org nga website and proceed sa APPLiCANT then click on International educated nurses. download and print ang application form and i-send sa CNO. request pud course description sa school kung aha ka nag nursing and with TOR and iMail to CNO.

di ko sure unsa ila pamaagi regarding IELTS. all I know is sa updated requirements nila last month, mudawat na sila both academic and general training. ako i-post sunod ang email nila pag inquire nako last month.

salamat gurl, kapoy man god sige basa nga busy kaayo ba hehehe...sige akong tan-awon tong site. update update nalng

tawag jud for follow up :(

nag register nako sa CNO. adtong JANUARY 13 nila nadawat ako application form. tingala ko nag january 24 nalang, still haven't heard from them. so, nag tawag ko sa CNO and nag inquire if naa na sa ila ako papers. nahadlok ko basin nawala sa post office ako papers. na-decline diay ang credit card coz naa pa pending nga bill. so, i called up my sister para ma-settle ang bill (coz iya man credit card), and 2 days after, nagtawag ko balik sa CNO para iTry balik ang credit card. dili man diay sila mag email sa imo for updates. dapat jud manawag sa ila.
so, karon ako na i-mail ako school records sa ila. dugay na tu naa but nag hulat lang ko nga madawat nila una ako application form and payment.

hapit jud nila i-uli ako application forms. maynalang nakatawag ko una.

nag email ko sa ila yesterday if naa ba pamaagi nga ma-check ang status sa application, such as unsa pa kulang nga documents... if receive na ba nila or not, etc. dugay lang kaayo sila ga-respond thru email. the soonest nga ako nadawat sa ila was 3 weeks after pa. ang uban more than a month gyud.

just wanna update you guys.

hi, good to hear some bisdaks here. anyway, im from cebu also. naa naku eligibility sa CNO. i applied last year around June, got my eligibility letter in September but the processing time was really fast. it took them only a month to process my application.
Most BSN-RN applications from Philippines have been disapproved, lacking daw ta education.
What i did was, i applied for LPN eligibility instead, it was easy, no hassle pa jud. i did not bother applying as RN kay daghan nako friends and kaila ga-apply then denied lang nya mahal baya kaayo ang application, around 600 plus while LPN applications only cost around 250 if im not mistaken.
this was my experience lang.

:(
this january lang ko nag mail sa ako application and last week lang ko nag bayad sa 678.
naa mo ilhan nga nag register as RN and successful sa application without having to go thru futher education? naa ko ilhan indirectly (friends of friends) nga eligible ila for CRNE and wala gi-require further schooling.

i just hope dili ko nila i-deny. 678 dollars! :(

hello everyone... baby_gurl, thanks for inviting me to this page... buti na lang i was born in cebu and had the visayan dialect as my first language, otherwise, hindi ako maka relate sa inyo ;D

anyways, i have applied last week of Nov, 2010 to CNO... they charged my CC on dec. 15, 2010... that's the only confirmation i got that they received my application... they normally correspond within a month... but when they do, they do it through super snail mail... just yesterday i received their letter informing me that they already received my application and verification of course completion and transcripts... the letter was dated jan. 07, 2011... imagine, after a month ko pa nakuha grrrrrr!!! >:(

the RPN application can be done simultaneously because i've been told by some who already did it... it's a good option to have kasi at least RPN tayo agad doon... kahit papano, ang maganda is registered tayo agad kahit as RPN muna... dahil isnabera nga daw ang canada sa credentials ng ibang country... at least pag registered na tayo sa CNO under RPN, pede na tayo talaga mag apply agad...

having a master's degree gives you a better chance at getting an eligibility without going through the BET (the equivalent of SEC in other provinces) and bridging programs (which will be required once you do not satisfy them with your BET)... kasi two years ang kulang natin sa kanila sa education... 2 years ang MAN... bago na kasi ang forms... dati meron silang verification of registration saka verification of employment... kasama lahat yon sa initial assessment mo... pero now, purely education ang initial assessment... and i heard that being a second courser will not exempt you from the BET... meron naman nag submit lang sya ng additional short course na 6mos, pinayagan mag CRNE kahit walang MAN...

re IELTS, yun ang hindi ako sure at what stage sya hinihingi ng CNO... kung before or after passing the CRNE... but i guess if we are granted the eligibility to sit for the CRNE, i re-require na din nila yon... i do know that once you submit your IELTS result at natanggap na nila, the validity date is set na... so matapos man ang registration process mo ng expired na ang IELTS mo, wala na sila pakialam doon... basta at the time you submitted your IELTS dapat valid pa sya...

i hope everything works out well for all of us... balitaan na lang tayo... i started a thread on CNO applicants kaso nilamon na sya ng new topics wala na nag reply hahahaha!

thank you canimmigrant! nag apply ako but as RN :( ang mahal pa naman... i guess expect nalang talag ako na i-require nila ako mag further studies before they'll grant me an eligibility.

nag pass na ako ng IELTS result which i took April 2010. how many years/months old result ba ang valid para sa kanila? nag email kasi one time CNO as a response from my inquiry and said to mail my IELTS result if i already have a result. di pa rin ako sure if may expiration ba talaga kasi more than once ako nag inquire and sabi walang expiration daw. di ako sure which they were referring about ielts exactly.

i have another thread regarding IELTS requirement in CNO. please read the response i got from CNO thru email. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t60315.0.html

last january lang ako nag bayad thru cc sa CNO. wala pa akong natanggap na snail mail. yun nga eh, sana email nalang sila mag update para mas mabilis. nagmamadali pa naman akong mag submit sa lahat ng requirements and complete it for processing before ako aalis ng bansa.

thank you talaga sa pag share. keep us posted ha. :)

i have another thread regarding IELTS requirement in CNO. please read the response i got from CNO thru email. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t60315.0.html i have read your thread on this one and the letter from CNO... from reading the CNO's correspondence with you, they are basically saying that the College will accept IELTS results, if you already have one... you just need to request the british council to forward you IELTS result to them directly (meaning you can only submit results not older than two years since files are destroyed by the british council after two years and mukhang they do not accept personal test results forms, gusto nila yung sent directly from the british council)... since you, if i remember correctly, took your general training last april 2010, you have until april 2012 to request the BC to submit your result to CNO... when CNO said IT HAS NO EXPIRATION, it meant once your IELTS results has been forwarded to them by the BC per your request, that is sufficient to comply with your PROOF OF LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY requirement... so dumating man ang april 2012 at hindi ka pa nakapag CRNE (na wag naman sana mangyari) ok pa rin yung IELTS mo, hindi ka na nila hihingian ng bago... ibig sabihin, CRNE na lang ang kulang mo para ka ma register with them... kahit after april 2012 ka pa makapag CRNE, deadma na si IELTS mo, chika na sya for life hihihi ;D... very much like with the visascreen for the US (i understand you have one as well, pareho tayo, lintik na gastos yan wala naman napuntahan wahahaha! >:(;D), once your nclex and IELTS results are with them, your visascreen is valid for 5 years, deadma na kahit mag expire ang IELTS mo dahil nung sinubmit mo sa kanila, valid pa... since nirequest mo na yung BC na iforward ang IELTS result mo sa CNO, ok na yon ganda... congratulations! :-*

last january lang ako nag bayad thru cc sa CNO. wala pa akong natanggap na snail mail. yun nga eh, sana email nalang sila mag update para mas mabilis. nagmamadali pa naman akong mag submit sa lahat ng requirements and complete it for processing before ako aalis ng bansa. talagang mega snail mail sila... it takes two weeks for their letter to get to the philippines, then it takes 2 to 3 weeks for the local post office to deliver the letter to us, grrrrrrr >:( kaya intay intay ka lang... sana nga sa email na lang sila mag update, bakit ang embassy eh email lang, mas importante pa nga ang mga letters nila hindi ba? hay nako! it's good you're taking care of this while you are still here... mahirap na mag ayos lalo pag wala ka mapagbilinan to do the leg work for you... i wish you well...

thank you talaga sa pag share. keep us posted ha. :) keep me posted on your progress as well... because of your info on IELTS, i am opting to take the General Training as well... my IELTS has expired nov. 2009 kasi... buti nga tinanggap pa sa CIO when i applied feb 2010... zsa, God Bless!

hi canimmigrant and babygurl! ;D

i find it really informative reading your posts. may i ask? how will i request British Council to forward my IELTS result to CNO? had my exams last August 2009 and will definitely expire by August 2011. i think BC need to submit the results to CNO asap.

thanks for your advise.... ;D
