Hello to all

I am a Canadian citizen living in Mexico with my husband and our two children. He is a Mexican citizen and we are wanting to go visit my family in Vancouver. I know he needs a visa and we have the forms but on the form it asks for spouse and children info. As myself and both my children are Canadian citizens do we have to put our info on the sheet as we don't need the visa. My husband also has a child from a previous relationship, who won't be traveling with us, does his info also have to be included? With all of the above info do you think it will be more likely we could get flagged for an interview? We live very far from the office in Mexico City so an interview would be difficult. Also can anyone tell me how much money they want him to have in the bank? My parents will also write a letter stating that they will take care of any expenses while we are there but I want to know a figure to put on the application?

Thank you so much any info would be appreciated

you are the spouse, your two children are his children, enter info on the form where asked for; yes if accompanying, , but you're not applying for visa because you are Canadian citizens. Write his other child, Mexican, if mexican citizen and not accompanying (new page needed).

did you end up getting accepted for your visit to Canada? i am in a similar situation.

Thanks so much
