We usually sent PCC to VISA office for security clearance. after that wat is the other method they do for security checks to isse PPR????

Hi, this is purely from a hunch.

some of security checks could involve ,

1. interpol red alerts
2. red alerts at ports of countries visited
3. checking for failed visa/immigration/assylum applications with other countries ( with whom treaties exist )
4. checking with the local law enforcement agency on authencity of PCC/criminal check etc
