So I'm a little concerned...

I printed off some messages between my stepson and my husband and I, I noticed in a part of the message I said his dad was working. What I meant was that he was working outside. Will this pose a red flag on our application. I'm extremely worried now because I just sent it off a few days ago and I'm scared that they may ask questions about him working here. He really doesn't do much because well of course he can't. Anyone have any input on this? I swore up and down that I skimmed this and I don't know how I missed this.

Don't do anything about it now, because it would just draw attention to it. The visa officer processing the file will probably just skim over the Facebook messages.

If they notice, and ask about it, you have a perfectly good explanation. Just say what you did here - that he was working outside on the yard.

I'm "working" all the time! In the garden, on my furniture projects etc. It's just one word I use all the time and that's the word I'm texting to my boyfriend too when he asks what I'm up to. We sent some of our text conversations and I'm on a visitor record here in Canada.

Ok phew I feel a little better now. I literally freaked out when I saw my message. But thank you everyone I really appreciate it ;D

I think that they must recognize these conversation are missing context. The most important thing they convey is that the relationships under scrutiny are continuous.
