Hi guys,

I'm sorry if this question has already been asked here.
Is it ok to mention some of my and my spouse's jobs and study periods only in "Personal History" and NOT in "Work History" or "Education"?
The reasons are:
  • We don't get any points for it anyway.
  • It's impossible to get transcripts or letters of reference from all places.
  • It's my current workplace and I just can't come up with a non-suspecious reason to ask for a reference letter.

When I'm asking "is it ok", what I really mean is - has anyone done the same and his application was still valid?

Thanks,
Daniel

Based on what I have read here, you may not need to mention any job that does not give you points or jobs that may give you problems when it comes to documentation in your job section. But you definitely need to account for everything in your personal history.
So, lets say between 2014 to 2015 you worked in an NOC D job and you did not get any points from it, then you can skip it in your work history. If you add it, you will need documentation to support it. But whether you add it or skip it in your work history, you have to include it in your personal history.
I know I read something like that somewhere on this forum, I just can't locate it now. Original idea credit goes to the original person not me.
