Hello everyone,
I have CRS scores of 503 and i booked my upfront medicals for Saturday 3rd, 2016, with the hope of getting an ITA in the next draw. Do you think it is fine to go ahead with the medicals as scheduled or postpone till after getting ITA?

Just do it, they are valid for a year.

I took an appointment for medical test on 12th December 2016, because I was about 95% sure I would get an ITA before that. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened. Do you think i should go anyways? My score is 478 and now I am really not that hopeful.

Why the rush? You have three months to do the medicals after ITA. Furthermore, medicals are valid for one year so if you take them too early and your processing takes longer than expected, you might have just a few weeks or months for landing after getting your PR or even have to take the medicals again

I have score of 478 and I am going for medical on 3rd December(tomorrow) as well. that medical is valid to submit within next 6 months and I am 100% sure to get ITA within 6 months, if not then Hell with Canada and Hell with EE :P :P

They are not valid for 1 year.
by the date you submit your e-apr, the medical must valid at least 6 month.
so I guess your point is high enough to get ITA by next draw

Hi, I am also planning to apply for upfront medicals.

Can someone guide me how and where to get appointment?? How much it cost?? or what kind of test needs to be consider.

Is there any details in cic website.I am also expecting ITA on next draw..

Follow that link to find all the approved physicians. The cost depends on the clinic so you will have to contact them.

They will do urine, blood, x-rays, physical and eye test.

Cheers :)
