I had done my medical on 23rd Feb 2010. But last month i sent them an email and asked about my status they told me "that they r awaiting results of background checks and they will contact me as soon as they are complete". Did u send ur passports for visa? How u sent ur passports?

I dont have any updates from my side. I dont know whats taking them so long.
Barsindoo....seems like you should have got ur PPR by now. which office are you dealing with?

i also dont have any updates until now. i made an inquiry 2 days ago. i hope i will be able to get the request same as how AUH Process got. its very hard to hang on....

Missed opportunities and all but in all let's give thanks to God.and see opportunities passing by that I cannot pick.... You shall recover all soon. Hi everyone I would like to ask you guys about the background check. I´ve read in another post that until they are done with background checks even though you had already sent medicals, e caps will not change. Do they mean when they are done with security checks right?
I think background checks are done when you submit full documents, once they are done next step is medical request and in the meantime they are performing security checks right? Please seniors advice.
