I am pre June 2010 applicant .I did my first medicals in June 2010 and re-medicals in July 2011 but suprisingly did not receive request for updated PCC .Like I have read in other forums, request for updated PCC are issued with re-medicals, I only received request for updated information and re-medical forms. My last PCC was in January 2010.Is there a strong indication that I would still receive request for updated PCC before my application is finalised?.

My photos were taken as per their requirement of photos. PR card system sucks !!!

Had I not called them, they wouldn't have checked it and issued a letter.

All those who are waiting for PR cards over 2 months should call and find out the progress of their cards.

Guess what he thought he got his PR, but it turns to be the same paper that you received, WHY THEY ARE PROBLEMS WITH PHOTOS !!! THEY REQUEST FROM HIM TO STAMP THE DATE ALSO. IS THIS WHAT THEY REQUESTED FROM YOU.

Hi,
My case: done my 1st medicals in March 2010 and due to being expired I was asked to do it again, I've done them again at the end of June 2011.
On Friday 05/08 I was asked to submitt new PCC for UK, we had them done already 2 weeks ago so wen sent them on the same day (yesterday)... Please tell me its a goood sign thatthey asked a new PCC!

We have similar timelines.
Your PPR is round the corner, congrats in advance.I am also expecting updated PPC request soon ( all things been equal), I did my first medicals in June 2010( letter issued on 30th April 2010) and re-medicals in July 2011 (letter issued on 1st June 2011).

I've actually sent my Police certificate the same day since I ordered in advanced and I received it 1 week before they requested...maybe you should do the same? Good Luck!

Hello all senior experts,
I believe we have to fill out a PR application form at the airport. Could you please give me the form number and also there may a form to fill for customs. What are those forms called? I want to prefill them to save time at the airport.

Second, my original destination city is Vancouver. But I am landing in Toronto. If I provide an address of Toronto instead of Vancouver, will there be a problem. Thank you.

Dear CERUTTI and yoko.....

i have done my medicals on 30-Sep-2010 and in july i got email to send filled forms through emails later i got an email on 16 June to submit police clearance certificate only for current country of residence, and they gave 30 days only to submit the same, after one month i sent them an inquiry and in reply i got below email

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent enquiry.



This application is currently undergoing routine background checks. We will contact you once these have been completed. We are aware of the validity of your medical examination results, however, we cannot proceed until we have received the results of the background checks.
