Could you please share your experience of sending PP to London in terms of which courier company takes passports, cost etc from Kuwait. Thanks.

Dear Fadi,

Its really unfortunate that CHC London makes someone wait for 10.5 months after medicals and then instructs them to redo mendicals. The applicants end up paying a price for the delay in processing.

very good evening to you dear members today an unexpected thing happened i received a mail from chc icluding the medical forms and mentioning that as your medical will expire in may 2011 there is not enough time to issue your visa and they asked me to re do the medical again for me and my wife ?????

noting that i still have more than 6 weeks for my medical to expire and that i have a friend in london to whom i can send the passports and he can collect them back and that my wife is pregnant and she is not allowed to travel after 15/6 so i guess if we did the medical again we will get stuck till she deliver and do the medical for the baby and include him in the application which will take tooooooo much time so putting in consideration all this what do you think the best thing to do ???

hello every1,
Today I recevied a SMS from Canadian embassy riyadh tht they have forwarded my immigration package for delivery.I had submitted my passports on 16th march and e-cas changed to decision made on 5th april.

We sent our pps via DHL from Kuwait. It cost us around KD 30.000. Now, we are waiting for them to be returned to us...with the visas, of course

Hi Friends,

I was still waiting for PPR request but no luck, today i got email from London CHC that medicals expired since it is already a year. They wanted new medicals done for me and my wife and current living country PCC as well as it is expires in 6 months this is really frustrating i dont know how long do i have wait....

Does anyone had similar request as well, please do share....

Thanks Raan for the info. KD 30/- is reasonable fee considering the fact that DHL gets shipments across to UK in a day or two max.

Dear Con9,

Ur medicals are done in Sep 2010 which means that they are valid till 29/09/2011. You may inform London CHC that you still have 5 months balance on the medical validity.

I sent medical on 11 Jan 2011 London VO. Received forms-application form, dependent forms, PCC and Right of landing fee on 11/2/11 and sent back forms on 12/3/11.

On my case enquiry on 3/4/11 got reply "File awaiting officer Review. You will be informed if more information is required."

Could you please comment what this means in light of when they may issue PPR. What is the stage of the application? Ecas shows "in process" since July 2009.

"File awaiting Review".
1. Does this mean B/G checks are complete?
2.Medicals are received? No furtherance of medicals.
3.Next step after REvIEW?

1. DID they mention in the SMS the Airwaybill number of the shipment?
2. did they mention which company they are using to diliver you the passports back?
3. can you share the sms with us, hiding the details of your personals?

Today i Received my passports with COPR..visa is valid till 09/12/2011..and all details r perfect i.e without any errors.

Regarding SMS from embassy:"please be informed that your immigration pckg will be sent to you today by aramex,AWB# *******" So this is the sms I got yesterday.

Congratulations! I'm from Riyadh too. Glad to see your timings. It's not that long as i am expecting. I'm from Riyadh too. Sent my passport on April 9, 2011. I want to talk to you by phone if you don't mind. I suppose you will be receiving soon a message from ARAMEX telling you to pick up your package. It will be sent to their Warehouse in Sulai. If you need any assistane as to how to reach there I am willing to help. Again congratulations!!

Congrats Azyz...so you finally got your pps with the visas...Congrats once again!!!

When we checked with Aramex here (Kuwait) we were told the pps may be sent by any courier and not only thru' Aramex as in UAE. Anyways, me too waiting for that wonderful call or SMS intimating the arrival of our pps....

One question Azyz. When you say submitted, it is the day your pps reached London VO or the day your couriered them from Saudi?

And if you don't mind, could you also confirm in which category you have applied? Is it Skilled Worker category? Just trying to guess when I might get my pp.

I had applied in FSW category,
My pps reached CHC-london on 16th march and they stamped visa on 30th march,ecas changed to decision made on 5th april and i received sms frm riyadh embassy yesterday...sure today was the D-DAY..passports with COPR delivered today.
@Aspire:I already received my pps..i am not based in riyadh..i m in Yanbu.

I know the "tail-end" is the most frustrating part i.e waiting to receive our passports..I hope every1 here receives their passport very soon.
