Hey guys,

Im kinda puzzled by CIC asking me to upload medicals for my spouse and children, who I clearly stated are NOT accompanying me as all of them are canadian citizens by birth?!

What should I upload instead?

I would suggest you upload:
1. An explanation letter stating that they are Canadian Citizens by birth
2. Proof that they are Canadian citizens -- copy of Canadian passport bio page or a copy of their Canadian birth Certificate.

All the best!!

Hi,

Sorry I'm not answering your question but out of curiosity " can your spouse not sponsor you to live in Canada?" Rather than having to go through EE.

One takes 6 months and the other 18 months.

Yes, exactly as DoubleS stated.

Write a letter of explanation. As part of the process you will of course be uploading a Passport and Birth Certificates for your spouse and children respectively as you included them in your application (rightfully so).

I am Canadian, as is our Son, but my Wife's Document Checklist requested the same for us. Out of curiosity is the checklist also requesting a Police Certificate for your spouse? If he/she has always lived in Canada you don't need to do this either. However, if your spouse meets the criteria for requiring a police certificate from another country then by all means get that.
