Medicals in another continent, is it risky?

I am based in Somalia and we don't have a DMP here, the closest ones are in Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya. I am planning to apply a spousal sponsorship via Nairobi office, and do my medicals right after my honeymoon in Malaysia. I noticed from the DMP handbook
that there are many regional medical offices in many countries, For Malaysia DMPs they may send to their closes offices in Singapore or Philippine while the Nairobi office may send to London or Paris, if i found out where the DMPs in Ethiopia and Kenya sent their Medical results, can i request the DMP in Malaysia to sent to that address too to avoid any delays, or is risky and i should avoid distant DMPs from my Visa Office.

In previous posts different regional medical offices are reported, some mentioned Nairobi and Pretoria for africa, although both of these cities are no longer in the list.
Some reported medicals were all sent directly to ottawa for processing

It really doesn't matter where you get your medical exams done as long as it is done by a Panel Physician (new name for DMPs) so pick one that is convenient for you from the list at http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx. Depending on your DMP, your results may not even be mailed anymore - Panel Physicians are switiching over to an eMedical system.

To be safe, I would simply include the receipt in your application (and, keep a copy for your records).
