hi! do you mean that i can send e-mail to Ottawa to ask status? but did you check the online status from CIC web site? What is the status you can see from there? because I have done my medical on July 8, but in the web, it states" in the process"..

Hi,

I did not email Ottawa. I emailed buffalo and inquire if there's any confirmation that they already received my medical, and their reply is " Yes, we have received you medical. Your application is still in process.....etc..."

i see, thanks. i just sent a e-mail to buffalo office, awaiting for reply.
in the meantime, did you pay any Premanent residence card fee yet ? for me, I haven't yet, as not yet instructed.

canadadream1,

what catergory did you apply? for mine, I am applying under PNP NB.
I think you applied in Oct 5, 2009. right? then how do you now your medical has been received in Ottawa?

Should I or Should I not?

Hi,
I am at serious Emergency.
Need your frank comments please.
I am in the process of applying for F1 (Student) Visa for USA. Now, I have to submit a questionnaire. The last question in that questionnaire is- Did you apply for immigration or citizenship to any other country? If yes, then which country and what is the status of your application.

Please, I know it is awkward, but given the fact that my being a potential immigrant to Canada, the US consulate may reject me from Student VISA there. So, should I disclose that I have applied for Canadian Immigration in the Student Visa form for US?

I have only 24 hours to decide. I am sincerely looking for your pragmatic suggestion (no matter how awkward it is!).

invictus ,
it is very hard to make decision. I understand whenever you fill in a form for immigration or visa, you must declare all the truth. ..
but i am not sure whether US can get the info from Canada consulate, but i guess they can search it from a system linking to other countries to check about this. for some countries, you cannot have both citizenships, so they must have a system to check.

it will be a risk not to disclose to US.

4mfamily,
I applied under FSW1 NOC 4121 last year (File to Sydney in August and full application to Buffalo VO in October 2009). I got the FedEx tracking number from the Doctor office. In the FedEx website it showed that it was delivered. But, I read that some people have call Ottawa office to find out if they receive the medicals results. You may call the doctor's office first to find out if they already send them.
I hope this helps....

friend of my friend just got the notification from Buffalo office for passport request , they are applying under PNP and did the medical in July...
but mine was in July but not yet heard from them! so anxious!

I sent e-mail to Buffalo and it replies that they did received my medical report .. crossing my fingers.. waiting and waiting.
