Hi All

I have recd a request for Medicals and RPRF from Buffalo:

Have few queries.Would appreciate response from seniors or folks who have already gone through this process:

a.How do I proceed ahead with medicals?Do we need to specifically go with list of practitioners specified by CIC?

b.I have not recd. any medical form however the letter from Buffalo says that Enclosed you will find Medical report form and I need to submit the same in IMM1017 and imm5419.Do I need to dowload the forms from CIC website?

c.Are the medical forms sent by practitioner directly to CIC or I can take them in an envelope and then send them across alongwith RPRF?

d.Regarding the RPRF,letter says that it must be submitted in form o money order, certified cheque or bank draft payable to 'Canadian Consulate General'
Please let me know which is the easiest to obtain while in USA.Again is this required to be payable in Canada or Buffalo and where do I need to send the RPRF?

e.Anything in particular to take care while sending medicals/RRF?

f.Once I send the medicals and RPRF,in how many days is the passport request generally received?

cheers!

Go to the CIC website and find a DMP in your area. Medicals are to be done only by a doctor on the CIC list. Usually, the visa office sends part A of the medical form with applicant's picture on it, remaining forms can be downloaded from the CIC website or can be obtained from the doctor's office. Once the medical is done, doctor is required to send it directly to the visa office. Information about the exact amount for RPRF can also be obtained from CIC website.

Hello IT Consultant. I have to send my full set of documents to Buffalo. I just got my AOR from CIO.

I am confused. Do I need to send the dd for RPRF $490 * 2 now .. or will they ask for it later? ONce my full set of documents are approved?

Please respond. THanks,

in my case it took 45 days

@candiur

The RPRF fees is asked for at a later stage and not while submitting application to Buffalo.

You generally receive the RPRF alongwith medicals/PPR request

Hope this helps

cheers!
