Our case went to appeal and we won. My husbands medical was done on Jan 2009 and so is the police clearance certificate. Should my husband go have these done before the PPR? and do we use the same forms from the immigration website? Is there a chance they will not bother to ask him to redo them? Just wanting to cover all the basis, getting excited but very nervous since I am worried that something will mess up.

You do realize the case is going back to the visa office for reprocessing? It's my understanding that a new medical, at least, is part of that reprocessing - but I wouldn't just have him go get one done without hearing first from the visa office. They should be sending him a request for an updated IMM0008 and whatever else they need in order to finalize the application. They are not going to just send a passport request as soon as they get the file back from the IAD.

We're in the same boat - it's nice to have the appeal behind us, but it's just the beginning of more waiting.

No I know they wont do it that soon but just thought maybe it wouldnt hurt to be prepared. I was told that the documents go to Ottawa and then off to Delhi. I was also told it would be 6 to 8 weeks after the documents arrive in delhi before they would contact my husband. I dont know how long it will be before Ottawa sends off the documents. I can only hope what they said is true but wont hold my breath. I have to have surgery the first of June I would have liked to have had my husband here its pretty serious. I just hope they dont mess us about.
