Hi Everyone,

My partner and I are applying for Common Law Spousal Visa. I'm irish and she's Canadian but we live and work in Bermuda. We have most of our stuff together and i am now going for a medical but the doctor quoted me $500. Is this correct? Seems crazy to me. I was wondering if anyone can confirm that this seems about right.

Thanks,

Alan

Fees for the medical examination vary depending on where the DMP is located - CIC does not mandate a particular fee the DMP can charge. Typically the cheapest place to get one is in Canada - I know I was quoted US$550 in California, and that was back in 2006. If there are any other DMPs around your area, check with them and see what fees they're charging.

it was ~$300 in British Columbia, Canada (including all the lab fees, etc.)

i paid $100 in Manila for my medical and courier fee to the embassy :)

i paid 200 dollars in Montreal
