Medical surveillance

When you enter Canada you must notify public health. You need to have the medical surveillance lifted before working in health care. If you are a nurse, I assume you have completed NNAS and are licensed in the province you are moving to. As for jobs, I don’t know.

Hi.

I also received medical surveillance in gckey today. I am not yet in Canada, planning to go there in March. My question is will a person under medical surveillance not allowed to work in any medical facility or any healthcare job? I am worried since I am a nurse and my only work experience is related to healthcare and safety.
