Based from what I saw in a lot of time line, passport request usually takes one upto two months after "in process" in ecas. No worries - unless they suddenly asked for additional requirements. It has been more than a month already for you & they haven't asked for additional requirement, so it should be anytime soon. Give it another 3 weeks or so :)
Hello
Please l sent you a PM
And also what about QSW applicants?
Any idea?

What is your VO
its PNP and i sent my application to sydney, Nova Scotia but they transferred it to ottawa. One of my friend applied in january and had already got the passport request but for me the e-cas status is still the "application received" rather than in process.

My ecas still show "we have recieved your application for permanent residence on Nov 16, 2011". "Medical result has been received" and that was received since June. I still cant see "in process". What is the chances of getting PR b4 christmas?

Since manat people has received their ppr request in this thread, can you share ur experience of what the process is after medical check?

Is it just waiting and waiting

Or did the govt contact you at all before asking u to send in ur passport? Like for a status update of ur job?

Please take a few moments to answer, muchly appreciate it!

Hey .. After the medicals they will contact you only if any form is not filled correctly or they need Police clearance from the country that you reside if not already sent .. otherwise you will get PPR without any further correspondence from them.. One fine day you will open your email and you will find the PPR request in it,... out of blue even on weekend ..

Hi everyone,
i m new here..my husband applied under pnp..and we r waiting for our ppr.

Timeline:
applied:23 april,2012
AOR+MED:4 june,2012
MED received: 9 july,2012
VO:CPP-O
after that we didnt get any response from CPP-O..in september my husband snd then a mail to know our status.. Nxt day they snd my husband a standard reply that our application is in process and the standard processing time for our app is 16 months..whereas in our AOR it was just 10 months.

I m really frustrated regarding this process..how long to wait for ppr?

Thanks in advance.

Sara , It is no use emailing them . They will contact you if you need anything > if they received your Med in July 2012 you are very close to get PPR . Dont be frustrated.

Hi Guys,
I am an applicant from CPP- Ottawa. Recently I got an email from CPP- Ottawa that I should send my/dependents passports to Detroit Consulate office, RPRF fees, passport size PR pictures etc.

I have question regarding passport size photo, do I need to write name and date of birth at the back of photo. The link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5445ETOC.asp#appendixB talk about entering date the photo was taken at the back of photo but I have seen on the forum where visa office has asked or people have written name and DOB FIle # etc?

Really appreciate your help in the matter.

Thanks,
Canadabie
