Medical Request in 15 days... Is this a good sign?

Hey Guys!
I applied for my study permit on November 1st and got my medicals requested November 15th. I'm just wondering if this is a procedure the CIC follows or whether it's a good sign I'll get my visa.

Has anyone ever had there visa rejected after medical request for reason other than failing your medical test or know anyone that has?

I myself want to know that answe as well. However, i have seen others saying the medical request is a very good sign. People did get refused after medical but they are rare and had aome major issues with their application. Hope for the best. In Sha Allah you wilk get your visa if all goes well.

Visa rejection after medical is very rare(that is if your medical goes okay).
There are some blood test, including HIV, Hepatitis etc etc. which have to be negative. Which im sure you dont have.
So just chill. Getting a medical call is good news. Pack your bags.
After medical it can take upto 1 month for passport request, even if it did. dont worry.

It's been almost a month now since i got my medical passed.. i was getting so tensed.. thnx for your reply. In Sha Allah I will get my passport request soon..

I just got an email requesting my passport, even though I still didn't finalise my medical. Does request for passport mean visa approval, because I'm still not 100% sure :

What do you mean that you didn't finalise your medical? Did it say passed on your cic account?

I'm still left with one test that I didn't do for medical reasons and was asked to do it on Monday, so CIC has not received my Medicals yet. Because you have to do all the tests before they send it for you. Also I don't have a CIC account because I applied on paper.

Oh well I don't know about that because as far as I know the embassy needs your medical reports before they give give you visa. :/

Yeah, that's why I was confused... Because they asked got my passport before getting my medical report
