Medical Request IMM 1017 Question

Hello, Since i did not do an UPFRONT medical. i was requested by CEM (Canadian Embassy Manila) to have my medical with the form IMM 1017. Im finally done with my Medical but according to the hospital only an upfront medical will be given an E-Medical form with the UMI #.
CEM requested for my medical which means i have an IME # and they gave me a receipt not an e-medical form cause they insisted that i do not need it and only an upfront medical will be given one.

Do i need to contact cem regarding my medical? Cause im kinda confuse right now since the IMM 1017 form doesn't indicate to send them any other documents. it just states to do medical and bring the following requirement.

yes, your panel physician right, if you go through upfront medical, then you need to send Emedical information sheet to cic but if it is regular 1017E, then you don't need to send anything.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I did not do an upfront medical.

Cause on the same day that i had my medical done which was suppose to be upfront, It was indicated on the SA letter that i can forward my medical if i still wasn't done.
However the hospital told me that upon typing my passport number a file was created under me for medical request by CEM. they were asking for the IMM 1017 form if i receive any via email i said i had none yet. Still they said it was okay to do my medical and that we will follow the request CEM made with the IME #. Then around afternoon, after i was done with my medical i receive my medical request with the attached form IMM 1017 indicating the IME number (like what the hospital mentioned). Called the hospital if they still need the form and said that its okay not to give them the form.

Still you need to inform CEM for your re-medical to avoid delays

Ive already done the medical however since it was a request from CEM the hospital refuse to give an E-Medical form (like the one in upfront medical). They insisted that it was a requested from CEM and they do not give out forms for that just a receipt. What document should i send them?

Hello, Thank you for this. Are you referring to a Medical Request from CEM (No Upfront Medical) the onewhich your old medical expired and ask to do a re-med again.

I think they refuse to give you because you have already file records in their system and they can do is to update your medical.Just tell to the CEM that you already done re medical so that they would knew. Re medical is only a maximum of one month from the day they inform you and if wait for the CEM to re update again your medical i think it could take 3 weeks.

ill try to wait for a few days and see if my ecas will update. If not then ill send them a copy of the receipt and IME number. Yea the nurse said i have a record on their system from CEM requesting a medical and that its not an upfront anymore. though same process but no e-medical form would be given. Something like that :-[

Don't worry to much they will gonna update your application soon
