Medical Request again. Can we interpret it towards any decision on Application?

Hey fellows !!

One of my friend received medical request again. Her timeline is

Application in March 2020
AiP in August
SDS INDIA.
Previous medical was on 25th Nov 2020

Already had biometrics. (One refusal in December 2019)


Now couple of days back they asked for Medical again. What does that mean. I suppose this is a positive sign.

Any comments?

Since I have been leaving Canada for almost five months. In my country, we are usually required to do a medical exam if we leave Canada for over 6 months. Will they require me to do medical exam if my application is not processed within 6 months? I send this enquiry through webform two weeks ago, seems like they ignored me. Thank You !

VOs at Ottawa are scrutinizing outdated medicals. Complete opposite of what they said on the webinar that it will re extended. Either way it's a positive sign, give a new medical exam and go for it.

Me too received medical request...did mine on 9th Nov and is updated on GC key on 11 Nov... waiting for decision.

I think you should book a new medical and keep the upfront ready in hand so that if you get the request you can attach it immediately.
