I have applied for a temp work visa, open work permit for wife, temp resident visas for two of my kids under 3 and one open study permit for elder (school going) son aged ~7. Of course my job is highly skilled as evident from NOC code so i am allowed to bring family along.

I received medical instructions letter for all of us i.e. me, my spouse, and both younger kids EXCEPT OLDER SON i.e. the one for open study permit. I am applying for quebec so already submitted my CAQ for work as well as submitted CAQ for study for elder son that i obtained via separate online application tracked through my employer's lawyer.

I am from Pakistan so do require medicals. Here generally medical call means your case is processed fine otherwise. I have emailed the embassy asking for my elder son's state telling them i have received instructions for others, but not him and we are waiting for his letter before we get an appointment at IOM for medicals.

It's been two days since i emailed the embassy. No response so far.

Any advice? Should we go for medicals without him? or should we get a date for medicals say 10-15 days ahead and expect that his letter would come with in that time?

Any one with similar experiences in the past?

Thanks
