Can someone please point me to the information on Medicals and approved locations? Especially for Russia.

No worries, just didn't know what we didn't give you to answer your question. Use the link that is for cics, it's part of my signature.

Immigration forms, guides, medical, fbi info: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/index.asp
Then you will see info for Medicals, click there and look for the country you need. Then it will let you look for approved physicians and give you more info.
