Medical History in the US

Hi,

Does CIC have access to medical history of applicants in the US? Do you need to sign a release of information during the medical exam (medical history in the US)?

No but if it is discovered you lied on your initial application it can follow you for a very long time. Best to start of being honest and not lying.

How about the panel physician taking the medical test? Do they have access or do we need to sign a release of information to them?

A panel physician can not access your medical records. If you arrive in Canada and suddenly have a chronic condition that needs treatment it will be very clear you were lying on your application. Just be honest.
