Yes indeed, I was dumb.

However, i just got off the phone with the dr office. They found something on the chest x-ray and want me to do another one as well as sputum tests. As I've already had a tuberculosis vaccine, I'm concerned about what else it could be. Spots on lungs ain't good, eh?


Edit: This keeps getting better and better. Doctor called me back - they found something on the lung (an "opacity") but apparently the radiologist said there was "no other sign of active TB"

Yeah, if it's lungs, it's generally a TB concern. They will do the sputum test and x-ray to check.

He stressed I should get a CT just for my own health, not for any immigration purpose. I am also doing the sputum/xray. He's booking me a CT. I am not going to lie; I'm absolutely terrified

It's probably more likely that the doctor is just trying to cover their own ass. Have you seen your own doctor for a follow-up?

Yes I did get that impression. And sadly I don't have my own doctor - it's very tough to find a doctor in my city as none of them are taking new patients. My panel physician said he'd order the CT for me (and presumably follow up on results)
