Medical Extensions

Hey Everyone,

We are applying from within Canada to London visa office (we know we could have applied to Ottawa. Our mistake but that's another story).

I completed medicals after being requested to do so April 2013. I then received PPR March 24, 2014. This leaving 3 weeks of medical validity. In the email it says my Permanent Resident Visa would expire April 29th 2014!!!! This is 5 weeks after the PPR and 6 days after the deadline they gave me to submit passport copes etc.

Luckily I was able to send everything express mail to London so they got there quickly. I put a letter in there highlighting the fact that the medicals expire soon and that the expiry of the PR was way to tight of a deadline.

My question is...would they extend medicals after passport request?

after PPR why u want to extend your medical Huh?

everything is done after getting PPR Case closed.....

And they dont do any extension for medicals cic will request you to re-do ur medicals if they need so.

My point is that they said in the PPR request that the PR will expire April 29, 2014. Giving us 3 weeks and a few days from today to become 'landed' and we haven't even received that piece of paper in the mail yet.
