Are you doing medical in advance or did you get the MR

I had my E-Medical appointment booked for april 24, in Edmonton ( heritage village clinic in the South Side) It took about 2 hours for myself and my husband with chest x-ray and blood work. Cost $400 each. You pay physician visit $200 , chest X-ray 50 and blood work 100. I phoned other clinic but they were booked until 1 month later and the cost was $20 less than what I payed. It's not a big difference in cost and they have 3 physicians dealing with immigration medicals. They book you in pretty quick. They sent our results within 10 days. Good luck!

All you need is passport and the medical request form sent by immigration with your information on it. No pictures required for e-medicals as they take your picture there.

@Miranja: I got the MR via CIO Sydney

@Ioanag: I am also looking at getting it done via an e-enabled DMP (designated medical practioner) because the process via them is faster. Do you know where I can get a list of such e-enabled DMPs in Edmonton. I live beside the West Edmonton Mall and am hoping to get something close-by because it’s easier to commute via bus. But if need-be, I can also get it done at the south side.

I am looking at the list of all the DMPs in Edmonton at http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2042&ProvID=15208&ProvinceName=Alberta&CountryName=Canada but I am not sure which one it is where you got your medical done at south side heritage village. Could you please give me the address. I see two different heritage village locations :)

Thanks :)

My bad, looks like both the "heritage village" locations are the same, just liked under different physicians/contact persons. Like to confirm is this the location you had your medical done at:

Heritage Village,
2041-111th Street N.W.,
Alberta,
T6J 4V9

Thanks :)

Are you a CEC app? What is your timeline? Interesting that CIO S requested your meds

Yes! That's the address. Its near a Sobey on 111 st. Did you book your appointment?

Hey, thanks for responding back :)

I called them yesterday but the receptionist advised to call on monday and stated that they are not e-medical enabled but she seemed a bit confused herself. She advised to bring 4 passport pics. Will try calling them back on Monday.

Are you CEC applicant? Can you please post your timelines?

Hi there,

I am rather a PNP nominee. Would you still like to have my timeline? If so, I would need to dig up my documents to pull up my exact timeline dates and would need a couple of days to post it.

Cheers :)

That's weird... She must have given you wrong info. When I went to check a week after I did my medicals an older lady working there said the same to me, that they are sending my results through paper (courier) which was not true, they sent it electronically. Good luck to you!

Hey, thanks for the super quick response :)

I felt the same by the slight confused tone of her voice.

Like to confirm - I know you mentioned that they can take pictures there itself, did you got your pictures taken there too or did you bring passport size pics?

Thanks

Cheers :)

They took my picture there, did not bring any pics.

Thanks for the affirmation :)
