Dear all,
I fit to apply in another aspects. But I could not able to start the application because of the medical examination. am quite healthy but am afraid of being examined for diseases that lead to psycological illness. What will happen if a person for example is detected for HIV. Can she or he be accepted if the rest health aspect is fine ?????

waiting for your practical answer

thenks

I am not sure about Canada....BUT US does not discriminate against HIV patients. Though might not be the case for Canadian Immigration. I guess a DMP can answer you it better than anyone else. You can discuss your case with a Designated Medical Practitioner and see what he says.

Canada may refuse you if they feel your health will pose a burned on the Canadian health care system. I agree with devilhimselff - discuss it with the DMP.

I disagree with my dear friends devilhimself and scylla....this is the 1st time i am disagreeing with them :P
Gebrum, I think you should not be disheartened and not think of applying only with the apprehension of being detected as HIV + or may be discovered having some ailment...Go ahead and apply...Medical exams only detect for communicable diseases which can pose threat to canadian society..
For HIV testing u can go for :-
1) ELISA test - if it comes negative....celebrate and go ahead to apply
2) if ELISA is positive dont worry---> go for Western blot test which is a confirmatory test as sometimes ELISA test gives a false positive result also...
Please elevate your spirit and cheer about the good life God has gifted you with...visa or no visa should not matter... :)
Hope that helps
