Hi

Is that required to take medical examination from the same country of where I have applied my Canada Permanent Residence application ?
As I am not living at present in the same country, I would like to clarify this.

Could anyone help me out please?

Regards
Shyam

You can take medical examinations from anywhere in any country so long its an approved medical centre by the canadian immigration. I did process my application from africa but i did medicals and police certs etc from london(uk). I know what is compulsery with police certificates (only) is if you greew up and turned 18 from a country where you were born other than that currently living you will have to get the police certificates from both countries. I had to get one from africa and one for london offices. I did the africa one through my countries high commission in uk.

i have the same problem. i need to undergo the medical exam in another country other than where i submitted my application.

who should i contact, the embassy where i am currently nearest to? or the embassy where i submitted my application?

will this complicate my visa application?

i need some advice.

thank you very much!

Like has been said above, you can do the medical exam with any of the accredited doctors in any country regardless of where u applied, only that you have to go back to the same doctor if your medicals are furthered (what VO told me).

You dont have to contact the embassy, just contact the DMPs. I guess u already have the med request forms, just go with that for the medical exam.

are there important details that i need to know before the medical? what forms to bring, etc?

will this prolong my application? since i will be condunting my medical in another country?

also, does this mean that i have to change the visa office? or will it be the same visa office that i applied to before? or a change in adres?

im very confused, and will be very glad for your advice.

Nothing to worry about. Just carry two extra pictures..as per immigration standards, your medical forms and passports.

what should i expect during the medical exam?

does this mean that the interview is waived?

if everything goes well, usually how long after the medical would i wait before the passport request?

Nothing is confirmed. U may be called for an interview before PPR stage. Every applicant is experiencing different time line after MEDS. It could vary from 15 days to few months

wish u gud luk
