Medical examination-To apply FSW with a son with down syndrome

Dear friends,

I am planning to apply for FSW status in Canada. As I saw in the internet, there is a medica examination during the process.
I and my wife have a son, 3 years old with down sydrome. My questions is that if it is affected our application or not?
Are there any spesific diseases that is barrier during the application?

I would be appriciate if you share any idea or any experience or information?

Unfortunately there's no black and white answer. It depends on the severity of the condition.
