How is the medical examination timeline calculated? Does the time begin with the date of the actual medical examination date....or does it begin at the time the CIC acknowledges receipt of the paperwork from the doctor's office? My doctor mistakenly put a wrong date early by one month on my medical exam document. Does it matter?

From the date the actual medical was done.

That's what I thought. The doctor stated that it didn't matter what date he has on the paperwork (he said it is calculated from the time they acknowledge receipt of it), but that he would change it and put his initials on it (at the corrected error) but now I have the problem of a discrepancy that might draw negative attention. Would it be best to leave well enough alone, and lose a month on my medical document's valid time frame? Or should I get my allotted time corrected and then have this glaring error on a document that might raise more problems than it is worth?

The date of medical plus one year is the timeframe for finalisation and landing . if it takes a long time to finalise your case one month's difference might be significant so it's a difficult one to call.

Thanks Nanapush. Going back Thursday morning to have him correct it... I think... still on the fence about it. Was hoping for some insight that would help me make up my mind :-\ sigh
